As I mentioned in a previous post I shot producer Al Shux last week. Pretty stoked on how they came out. Al won a grammy last night for his work on "Empire State of Mind", Jay Z and Alicia Keys' #1 single from last year.

I've known Jimi for a number of years now. We met way back in Art School and hadn't seen each other in years till I moved out here and now Jimi and I get to work together and hang from time to time. Jimi's work is rad, check it out here and his blog here.





Jimi's friend Megu, editor for Smart Magazine in Japan, was in town on a little vacation. Jimi has been showing her around LA for a few days.

30,000 ft. on my way to NYC





As I mentioned in a previous post I went to NYC at the end of last month. If I didn't get to see you I apologize it was kind of crazy trip and I was there for my good friend Jon Mildenberg's birthday so time with him in BK took priority. Trip was great, took a lot of "party" snaps for memory sake, made a few pictures of the snow and took a portrait of Marion that I posted here right when I got back. Wish I brought my 4x5 but I was packing light.

Been shooting a bit of assignment stuff since I've been back. A Guitar World feature, a video look book and a portrait/PR photos for Al Shux, english dude that produced and co-wrote Empire State of Mind. He's up for a grammy, really hope he gets it. Al was mad chill and down to earth, really good dude. I'm stoked on the pictures too, hope to post them in the next week or so.

One of my best friends, she is also one of the most beautiful and talented people I know. I just got back from a quick trip to NYC, some snaps from that trip to come. Marion needed a contributors picture so I had to send something off to her right away. Here's what I sent.
