I'm back in action, some hassey stuff

Feels good to get some scans done. Here are some quick stuff I shot with my Hassey. I don't plan on shooting anything (w/the hassey) but the project from here on out.
I just scanned these super low res, just wanted to get a feel for how things were looking. So I apologize for the dust and imperfections.

Its fun shooting film again, almost a novelty. So sharp, its amazing. Once I get some decent images together from the project I will be posting them here, same deal, rough scans, just to get an idea of where I'm going.

J. S. Mildenberg

Kate and I just got home from doing a little audio interview with our good friend Jon. We recorded a ton of audio, talked about life, art, music, and NYC. Shot some flicks as well here are a few.

Website is getting even closer, just a few final touches. Also, in other exciting news, my new 4x5 custom camera is finally done! I am so excited. I should have some film tests scanned next week some time.

two quick pictures

I shot these just before I left for Brazil.

This portrait of Jon was shot in this old factory building in Long Island City, Queens. It's owned by an old eccentric lady who has had it for years. I've worked many jobs there with both Clay and others, so many possible pictures there. The place is massive, old, and filled with all kinds of interesting stuff.
